More skateboard tinkering...

 

3/4 inch A/C plywood

bottom coat of light blue

experimented using multiple coats of different colored paint, then sanded it to reveal coats underneath (spark-like effect).  after that was done I added some solid shapes on top.

Inner Door

Involved in an event called Doors to a Better World (galleryswarm.com) where artists paint doors that are auctioned off for charity.

I've decided to call mine Inner Door. My pieces are almost always interpreted differently by each viewer because they are abstract.

This particular piece will show each viewer their interior, based on how they see it.

paints

a redheaded woodpecker crashed into my window while i was playing guitar. went downstairs to see what happened. decided to leave it alone for a while, as it was lying and slightly twitching but still alive.

came back 30 minutes later after a run on the beach. when it saw me it got up and flew into a tree.

inspiration for a painting? naw.

thinking about ordering some paints and the feeling i will get when i see them at my door.
